Wakefield Business Support Programme on Langthwaite Business Park

RCP21 - Remaking Competitive Places for 21st Century Businesses

RCP21 worked in partnership with Wakefield Council, South Kirkby and Moorthorpe Town Council and South Elmsall Town Council to deliver the Wakefield Business Support Programme to businesses in the Wakefield District. This service included:

  • Giving Business advice to businesses to grow
  • Guidance and help with expansion plans
  • Advice on how to access grants and funding packages
  • Information on recruitment and apprenticeships

Through the Wakefield Business Support Programme (WBSP), companies on Langthwaite Business Park have been offered over £500,000 in grant funding. This has enabled new businesses to start up on the park, existing businesses to exhibit at UK Tradeshows and has helped develop one page websites for businesses that have previously had no web presence

View the video clip below to find out more about the businesses on Langthwaite Business Park and the positive impact that WBSP has achieved.
